The Great Fall Classic's Individual Tournament followed after the awards ceremony of the team event. The event was a huge success with 72 fishermen and fisherwomen competing for the different categories. Again just like the previous event the fish were very cooperative. In the Bluefish Category we saw Mike Palladino take top honor with the largest fish, 17.25". Mike's fish was the largest fish caught during both tournaments. Second Place went to Mike Just Sr. with a bluefish measuring 15.00" and a girth of 7.75". The girth was what decided 2nd and 3rd, which went to Ralph Deluca, catching a bluefish 15.00" and a girth of 6.75". One other adult category, the Kingfish was taken by Bolli Mam with the King measuring 13.50". Bolli is the reining champion from last year, taking the 32nd Annual Great Fall Classic top honors. In our Youth Blue Fish division we had a fierce battle between two brothers, that had to be decided by drawing numbers. First Place went to Joey R. the older brother with a fish measuring 13.75". Second place younger brother Matt R. also with a13.75 bluefish. In third place we had a lovely young lady Sophie P. catch a bluefish that measured 13.50" Congratulations to all the angles especially to the youth that were apart of the NJBBA's 33rd Annual Great Fall Classic. ************ The Great Fall Classic is not an ASAC sanctioned tournament.
