 2011 President's Cup Tournament

 2010 NJBBA President’s Cup Tournament,

 sponsored by your Courtesy Patrol.

 

We had 16 NJBBA members participate in this years fishing tournament.

We would like to thank those members that fished I

BSP and Brigantine Beach.

This years overall winners were:

1st Place: went to Rod Smith who fished at Brigantine and landed an impressive 40.1/2inch 21lb. 7oz. Stripe Bass

2nd Place: we saw Bill Mackintosh score with a massive 35.inch 16lbs.

3rd Place: honors went to Dave Stimon who also landed a

bluefish measuring 32" also caught at IBSP.

The Tournament is held Annually on the 1st Sunday in November. This is a FREE event for all NJBBA members in good standing and is 

There are six (6) beaches designated for the tournament.

Sandy Hook, Island Beach State Park, LBI / Holgate, Brigantine, Corsons Inlet SP and Wildwood.

This years designated beaches are:

  • ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK..... A7 PARKING LOT WITH BILL MACKINTOSH

  • BRINGANTINE..... WITH KURT RENART

  • CORSON INLET..... WITH RON PATTEN

There are three (3) prizes for each beach, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and an overall winner for the state.

The prizes are: for 1st place a reel, for 2nd place an NJBBA sweatshirt, for third place an NJBBA hat and tee shirt.

The overall winner for the state receives an NJBBA jacket with “President’s Cup Winner” embroidered on it.

Prizes will be given out at the annual NJBBA Banquet Fish will be scored by length.

Eligible fish will be Weakfish, Bluefish, Striped Bass and Kingfish.

Each beach will have a captain. Sign-in begins at 6am, fishing starts at 7am and ends at 2pm.

Fish entry will end by 3pm. This is a FREE event. Get out there and fish!!

Only beaches that have beach captains will be eligible. Sign-up to be a beach captain and receive a NJBBA ball cap. The beach captains will be announced on the web site, www.NJBBA.org, as they are furmed up. Check the web site during October.
