2023 Banquet

On March 18 2023, we reinstituted our Annual NJBBA Banquet. It was our 69^th year and we celebrated at the New Egypt Elks Lodge #2457. We had a little over 60 members come out enjoy the fine festivities. There were two Scholarship Awards presented, Megan Woods and Alexandra McGinley were recipients.  Fish pool winners were announced but not in attendance. Francis ‘Paco” Wagner and Ron Woods Jr each received their one star jackets. Ken Hollins and Bill Mackintosh received their six star jackets. Valerie Dzindzio received a plaque for becoming a life member. There was a 50-50, door prizes, assorted raffles including a lottery for a pot of gold and grand prizes, food, music and friendship. Shawn Hardy did an outstanding job providing the music for dining and dancing. The food was excellent and we had a cake complete with a sandy beach along with tire tracks on top, cookie trucks and waves on the edges. The cake and cookies shaped like trucks were enjoyed by all. What a wonderful night! Thanks to all who helped organize this event and to all who came out. Next year, we celebrate our 70th Anniversary of NJBBA!
