Jeff Paul Scholarship Fund
New Jersey Beach Buggy Association will establish a fund known as the Jeff Paul Scholarship Fund. Named in memory of M. Jeffries Paul.
There will be two(2), one thousand dollars
($1,000) scholarship awards handed out each year to a member in
good standing for at least two years. This applies to a member,
spouse,
children, grandchildren, to further their education. Applies to
college, trade school, grad school, etc. The submission
deadline is February 15, 2026.

The applicant will be required to complete an application for consideration of the Jeff Paul Scholarship Fund. All applications will be decided by a formula set up by the New Jersey Beach buggy Association. There shall be a committee of five (5) determining who the recipient will be.
The following guidelines are to be used in determining the recipient of the scholarship award:

Scholastic ability,

Civic involvement,
-
Principal recommendation,
-
Personal investment.

In case of a tie, the decision of the committee will be final
-
Scholarship Committee will be selected by the following method. One by the N.J.B.B.A.
President, two by the Board of Directors, one by the Board of
Trustees, and one volunteer chairperson.

Receiving this years
scholarship is Jamie Frank, a Deans List sophomore at
Florida State University (FSU). Jamie is the Granddaughter
of NJBBA webmaster, Kim Frank. Jamie is majoring in
psychology and has spent the past year studying and
traveling abroad in Europe through her schools first year
abroad program. Jamie looks forward to attending her first
"real year" of college at FSU's main campus at the end of
August.

Caitline Bonser and Gina Novello

Caitline Bonser #2002, a Sustaining Member of NJBBA.
Daughter of Sustaining Members Jacqueline #2244 and Carl
#2244 Bonser. Caitline was awarded the Jeff Paul
Memorial Scholarship for 2021. She plans to attend Penn
Foster studying the Veterinarian Technician Course.
Caitline will then be working towards a Veterinarian
License. In her off time, she is an Award Winning Trap
Shooter and a Volunteer Firefighter. Thank you for your
service! |
Gina Novello #108-B is a Family Member of NJBBA.
Daughter of Carolyn and Paul Novello #108. Gina was
Awarded the Jeff Paul Memorial Scholarship for 2021. She
will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Interior Design, at Mississippi State University. |

Ryan O’Connell and Ronald Stesney III |

Ryan
O’Connell,
son of Carol & Greg O’Connell, NJBBA #3924, was awarded the
Jeff Paul Memorial Scholarship for 2019. Ryan plans to
attend Stockton University in the fall 2020. He plans to
pursue a Criminal Justice Major with the intent to move into
homeland security. Ultimately, Ryan has proposed the idea of
attending Temple University and enrolling in the US Park
Ranger Educational Program to become a conservationist/ US
Park Ranger.

Ronald
Stesney III,
son of Theresa & Ronald Stesney, NJBBA # 5388, was awarded
the Jeff Paul Memorial Scholarship for 2019. Ronald has
displayed a wonderful academic accomplishment by taking
classes at Ocean County College while attending his junior
year in high school. He looks to complete is college
Associates Degree before the date of his high school
graduation in 2021. His end goal is complete a computer
hardware engineer degree.
