NJBBA YEARLY FISHING CONTEST
This contest shall be known as the NJBBA Surf Fishing Contest. There is no entry or registration fee; however; only paid up members of the NJBBA may participate.
All fish must me caught by hook and line/rod and reel between March 1 and December 31 from the surf, bay shore, pier or jetties in New Jersey waters. Fish cannot be caught from any boat.
Species included are Northern Kingfish, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Weak Fish and Fluke.
There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in each category, with $50 for 1st, $30 for 2nd and $15 for 3rd. No participant may win more than one prize for each category. Prizes will be awarded at the Annual Banquet.
NJBBA SURF FISHING CONTEST
The pool is separate from the free Surf Fishing Contest but your entries in that contest determine the winners amongst the individuals who join this pool. The largest fish in each category among members in this pool wins the total amount collected for that species. In the event no fish is caught in a species, all entries will be put in a hat and a winner will be drawn.
Prizes will be awarded at the Annual Banquet.
This entry must be postmarked before the date any fish are caught that is entered in this pool.
NJBBA Members it is easy to register and it's only $5.00 per species.
Just print out the Affidavit for Fish Pools and the Entry for Fishing Pools forms. Fill out all sections and mail in along with your check. You never know what you will catch during the year. You could be a big winner.
