Ocean Fun Days was held on May 17th 2025 at IBSP. The NJBBA was there with games and prizes to give out to the children after they tried their luck at fishing. A big thanks to Nancy Paulick for taking the time to put all the prizes together, the children loved them! We had a blue tarp down to represent water and a half a dozen different rubber fish with a loop at the mouth and the kids used a bamboo pole with a makeshift hook on the end to lower it down and hook a fish. Patience and a steady hand provided an easy catch for most and some were better than others. Some adults even asked if they could try, everyone had a good time. We had Q&A’s, membership forms and we even had our mascot present, some of the people really enjoyed seeing it and talking about it. I want to thank those who came out and volunteered that day to help make this event run as smooth as it did.
